Endmaße wurden vom Schweden Carl Edvard Johansson erfunden. 1901 ließ er seine Idee patentieren und gründete seine Firma CE Johansson AB (CEJ) im März 1917. Sie besteht noch heute und stellt Präzisions-instrumente her.
Der hier angebotene Satz Parallel-Endmaße besteht aus 32 Endmaßen mit den folgenden Längen:
- 1,005 / 1,01 / 1,02 / 1,03 /... / 1,09 mm
1,10 / 1,20 /1,30 / ... / 1,90 mm
1,0 / 2,0 / 3,0 / ... / 9,0 mm
10 / 20 / 30 und 60 mm
- Toleranzklasse: 1 (+ 20°C / 293,15°K)
- Genauigkeit: ± (0,2 + 5 * 10-6)

Johansson was granted his first Swedish patent on 2 May 1901, SE patent no. 17017 called "Gauge Block Sets for Precision Measurement". Johansson formed the Swedish company CE Johansson AB (also known as 'CEJ') on 16 March 1917. The company still exists today and manufactures precision measuring instruments.
The set of Gauge Blocks consists of 32 gauge blocks with the following lengths:
- 1.005 / 1.01 / 1.02 / 1.03 /... / 1.09 mm
1.10 / 1.20 /1.30 / ... / 1.90 mm
1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0 / ... / 9.0 mm
